1. Acceptance of Terms

By enrolling in any course on the Microlek Skills Academy platform (academy.microlek.com), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. These terms are governed by the laws of South Africa. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not enrol in our courses.

2. Course Enrollment and Access

Upon successful payment, you will receive access to the course materials including pre-recorded video lessons, course notes, and quiz content. Live Zoom session schedules will be communicated to you via email after enrollment. Course access is granted for the duration specified in the course description. Individual course licenses are for personal use only and may not be shared with third parties.

3. Payment and Pricing

All prices are listed in South African Rand (ZAR) with approximate USD equivalents for reference. Prices are subject to change without notice. Payment is required in full before course access is granted. We accept payments via PayFast, Ozow, PayPal, Stripe, and bank transfer (EFT). All payment processing is handled by our secure third-party payment providers.

4. Refund Policy

We offer a 7-day money-back guarantee from the date of purchase if you have not yet accessed more than 20% of the course content. To request a refund, contact us at info@microlek.com with your order reference number. Refunds are processed within 5 to 10 business days to your original payment method. No refunds are available after 7 days or if more than 20% of course content has been accessed.

5. Certificates

Certificates are issued upon successful completion of all course lessons, passing of all required quizzes with a minimum score of 80%, and satisfactory completion and instructor grading of the practical assignment. Certificates are issued in the name provided at registration. Microlek Skills Academy certificates are Internationally Benchmarked and verifiable online using the unique Certificate ID. Certificates remain valid indefinitely.

6. Intellectual Property

All course content, including videos, notes, quizzes, and materials, is the intellectual property of Microlek — Electronics and Telecom. You may not reproduce, distribute, share, or resell any course content. Recording of live sessions is permitted for personal study use only and may not be distributed.

7. Student Conduct

Students are expected to engage respectfully in all live sessions and Q&A interactions. Microlek Skills Academy reserves the right to remove any student from the platform without refund if they engage in abusive, disrespectful, or fraudulent behaviour.

8. Limitation of Liability

Microlek Skills Academy provides training and educational content in good faith. We are not liable for any damages resulting from the application of repair techniques learned through our courses. Device repair involves risk and students are responsible for their own actions when applying skills learned.

9. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update these terms at any time. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
